performance in collaboration with rum 46, aarhus 2008

Together with local activist groups and musicians we performed a BLACKBLOCK as a contribution for the 1. May –Processions in Aarhus. The march was open for everybody and we created an emancipated musical cacophony. Therefore we collaborated with brass bands, activists and amenable experimental musicians.
With this performance we would like to put forth the paradox of the forthcoming future which is not presentable at this time but taking place here and now anyway. Activists’ practices are extremely important for this context, to contaminate broader regions of the society with the request for antagonism and radical democracy. Another reference is the black square from Malewitsch that we cubisted into life.
